Frequently Asked Questions
Having a 200-hour certification is the basic requirement for being able to obtain liability insurance and apply for teaching positions at yoga studios, gyms, and wellness retreats around the world. Throughout the course, you will receive real-world teaching practice to help you graduate with greater confidence and practical experience. At the same time, consistent self-practice, continued learning, and personal experience remain essential parts of becoming a skilled teacher.
While this certification is the minimum qualification required to begin teaching (unless you are already an experienced teacher), the yoga field is highly competitive, so confidence and teaching experience become extremely important and develop gradually through regular practice and continued learning.
